Last night was awesome! The girls were so ready to hear the Word. Anne and I spent the whole 3 and half hour drive worshipping and were so at peace and excited by the time we got to Gatesville. I love my IPOD the songs we played were perfect for our trip and God was working on us as soon as the music started. I have some new songs downloaded and you really should get a list from me heehee...

Anyway, we weren't scheduled to be there but the Chaplain had called and asked us to come because of a cancellation. So, off we went and it was incredible. God's funny sometimes about not letting you know too much ahead of time. I have spent alot of time over the past week just practicing being in His presence. That may sound weird but it's a necessary thing for me to make myself be still. He has been speaking to me about healing broken hearts and the things He revealed to me on Friday were so beautiful I couldn't wait to tell the girls. Still, it had not come together. It seemed there were missing pieces. When we got started, the last of the pieces came together and once again, He was so faithful to fill us with His Word. It just flowed as if we had been ready for the service for years. Even more so, it really stuck with me. I spent the day today just reflecting on all He spoke to our hearts yesterday. Oh, i am so in love with Him! He is everything, He truly is!

Now... onto something cool. What I want to share is going to take more than a journal entry, it will take a while to really get into so I have decided to try and write a little at a time. For those of you who read this blog alot, you can take this journey with me! I think it is going to be beautiful. As I said a while back, I feel God is leading me to either revise the old book or write a new one. I am still seeking God on that. I know alot of you have said I need to write a sequel but this really does have to be God's direction. Right now, all I know is there was more to it than what I wrote in "Untying the Lies."  Do you know the emphasis God has placed on healing our hurts. Well, I didn't until here recently! 

Starting tomorrow ( Tuesday- January the 13th) , I am going to start taking you on the journey with me. I will give you a few verses a day and then we can go over what they mean and some very cool things God has been taking me to in His Word that fit perfectly. I can't tell you how pumped I am about this! I am not promising to write everday. I am just going to write as I feel led. Starting tomorrow I will try and catch you up.
