Beauty for Ashes Retreat

I was in Lubbock this past weekend and am so excited about what God did! It was the first time I did the Beauty for Ashes retreat since God placed it all on my heart. It's always a little scary do to a new topic. You just pray it means as much to the women as it did to you. There is no doubt it did! God moved in such a powerful way. Usually, I love to share stories of specific things God did in people's lives but this time it just seems too personal to share. I will just leave it at "it was so special!"

This weekend I am heading to Spring Tx. Woohoo! This year has been such an adventure already. I love having a front row seat to see how God is moving in the lives of these women! God is so faithful and I can't wait to see what He does this weekend too!

I have a lot to do tonight so I will leave this short but please be in prayer for all the upcoming events, God is doing a new thing and it is so awesome to see. He is doing a new thing in me too! Oh how I love Jesus!

I also want to thank Shirley, Jan, Janice Finney and Anne for all your help with the ministry. You guys have been so awesome and God is using you not only in the lives of the women in prison but He is using you profoundly in mine. Thank you for your support, encouragement and help in these units! Thank you for believing in the Jesus in me! God has used you to set my eyes back on the course ahead!!

OH, AND..... Thank you for not scaring easily!! LOL..

You guys are a gift from God.

Now... go serve your King!
