So many years I had it in my heart to go into the prisons and teach this program. Although county doors would open, state doors would not. I was bizarre but I resolved to believing God just had different plans than I did. I loved what I was doing so it wasn't hard to keep pressing forward. Then all of a sudden.. boom!

Now, I have funding, volunteers, chaplains support and even administrative help at the exact time God opens doors to places I could not get into before. It's amazing! Every time I turn around God is placing another blessing on the table. I have 15 volunteers signed up for these prison runs!! God even gave us a guitar player!!!! Woohoo!

I guess I just wanted to share this because sometimes I think we take no for an answer when it was just a "not now."  In God's perfect timing, thing come together that couldn't before. Man cannot open doors like God can!

What I learned through this is that God gave me that desire but He couldn't allow it until I was prepared for the responsibility that came with it. I had some lessons I needed to learn and some things that had to be sorted out first. Now, since I know HE made it happen instead of me, I can trust I am ready to move into the calling He has set before me! We serve a mighty God!

So... let's go serve our KING!!
